I stopped asking for trade in prices from bike and car dealers years ago.
It only ended up pissing me off. I have never traded in any vehicle in my whole life.
Why give them your bike, sell it your self, and make a lot more on it.
Selling a bike isn't that hard, it just takes some time to find the right buyer.
i thought there used to be three values....trade, private sale and retail. why would anyone think they woud get almost retail trading into a dealer. no offense meant guys, but to expect that from a dealer on anything, even a car is.....well you need a reality check. also, to thnk you would get much for your add ons is another thing....you make it yours.....not his.....you used to be able to take them off and switch them to another bike. probably not so much any more. jmho.....
