I have no dust issues and no noise issues (never a peep) and no stopping power issues rain or shine with the 09 Brembo pads.
You talking about the HD pads? If so, I can't believe the no dust statement. If your talking about the EBC HH Sintered pads, I will buy them on the next go around on your recommendation.
How well do the rotors hold up to the metal on metal of a sintered pad?
Remains to be seen. I'm guessing rotor life will be shortened, but no idea by how much. I had about 20,000 miles on them on my last bike, and the rotors were fine.

The hd pads For my 09 when you pull them out of the box are stamped into the frame of the pad, Brembo.
I have no doubt they are made by Brembo by Brembo and put in a hd box.
Let's talk about no dust. I ride this bike all highway about 300 miles a day on weekends and some short weekly hops to work. I have a sunglow red bike and most of my stopping is from 70-80 mph to zero or to local speeds. I guess what I'm saying is the pads get a good work out.
A few times a week I de-bug the fairing and windshield and spritz the tank, fenders, bags with one of those clear auto detailed sprays with a Micro fiber cloth. She shines up with a wipe and I never find myself saying " oh crap look at all this brake dust" . Sure there is some form of road dirt, exhaust, and I'm sure brake dust but I never say to myself all this dirt (which ain't much) is attributed to brake dust to the point that I want to change the mfg. Of my pads. Perhaps if I had a white bike I may change my tune but risking the whole stopping power wet/dry thing and squeaking possibly cause I have none of those problems now isn't worth it to me. Not that any of you are wrong.
It's just not worth it to me. Thanks for letting me explain. Jim
Well after numerous phone calls to Lyndall, leaving messages and two e-mails with NO response at all. With the help from Drew at HogPro, the ones that I bought the Z+ pads from, I finally got though today. They are sending me a new full set of the gold pads at no charge. They don't even want the old pads back. Jim at Lyndall said just take a pic of the pad and e-mail it to them to show they were not damaged in any way to cause the nonbrakeing in wet conditions.
Cudo's go out the both Jim from Lyndall and Drew from HogPro for helping and making thing right for the customer.
I have the Lyndall gold on the back of my FLHT;they don't have the stopping power of my original pads. They`re going in the garbage this weekend, and getting replaced with the oem.
I've riden in a ton of rain and different conditions and have never had any problems with the stock HD pads. Guess their actually Brembos. Never had any fad problems or anything else.
