I agree. Never had any issues with the OEM pads and recently replaced the rear pads at 30,000 miles. Still on the original front pads at 33,000 miles.

They didn't last long at all either.
Have to agree. I had the Lyndall Gold's installed on my rear brakes just before a cross country trip and they didn't seem to grab as well as the OEM pads. Will be going back to OEM's this week. Nice to know that I wasn't imagining this!

I have Hawk pads waiting to go on when I need them, have EBC at the moment, organic on the front and sintered on the back, the sintered overpower the back and I will go to organic next time, the Hawk pads are NOA and are rated somewhere in between other organics and sintered.

Update on the rotors. At 86,000 I had to replace the front rotors. Mechanic said he would call it premature wear caused by the sintered pads. He recommended EBC organic but said it's personal choice. If I like the way the sintered stop the bike in the rain just be prepared to buy rotors but new pads more frequently is cheaper.

I also notice the EBC sintered pads say they are for stainless steel rotors, and since there are different grades of SS it might be a crap shoot to say if HD rotors can take sintered pads.
