I melted the sole of my running shoe on there, and by heating it up and using oven cleaner it came right off.
**** BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET IT ON ANYTHING ELSE!!! It'll ruin brushed aluminum, zinc headed bolts, paint, and black engine casings. Be sure to put rags behind the pipe before you spray/apply it.
I use a dog's rawhide chew strip. Not kidding, works great. Use it like a scraper.

I 2nd this. I had burnt on oil and boot marks on my exhaust. magic eraser sprayed with carb cleaner took it right off. Polish with chrome cleaner and your good to go. Hopefully your burn will heal fast.
