Street glide owners
Does the street glide seat have a pocket deep enough to hide the bracket for piston powered back rest. I would like to put it on my 09 ultra that I have stripped down. Thanks

Yes. I run the HD adjustable backrest on my 11 SG with the stock seat and it works just fine.
I did not like how high the backrest itself sits above the SG seat, ( no fault to HD as it's really made for the taller seats on the ultra) I wanted more lumbar support, so I cut the backrest bar and shortened it, welded it up and have the backrest seating flush with the SG seat. Looks and works great for me.

I have the adjustable on my ultra don't want to take the bracket off too much work. I removed tourpack and lowers just want sleeker looking seat until I put it back on. Thanks ill see if I can find cheap stock seat
