I have to admit, I hated the looks of the RG, but lately it has really grown on me. If I were to buy a second (new) Harley that would be the one I would get. I really want to ride one, might have to rent one for a weekend just to see how it is.

Yep! Rode one at a dealer demo on Sunday, had one in the garage on Wed. Had to wait till Wed. because my dealer didn't have what I wanted and had to trade another dealer. Unless you are really ready to buy, I wouldn't ride one!
Me, 03 Ultra traded for 08 Road Glide(used) 6 months later traded for '10 Ultra.
Wingman, 06 EG Standard traded for 12 RG Custom(against my advice) 6 months later traded for a '12 Ultra(used)
Co-worker, 04' Road King traded for 09 Road Glide, six months later traded for 09 EG Classic.
You might need a larger sample size but I don't. All three of us had the same complaint about the wind buffeting. I love the look of the 12 & 13 CVO Road Glides but I would never by another one. What good is having a bike that you don't like to ride?
I use to hate the fugly, could not stand to look at them. The last few years they started to look better, kind of a fairing face only a mother could love. Took one for test ride July 22, 2013 and rode it home. Have 5 k on it now and can't stop riding it. Will never go back to batwing.
