Harley Touring Wheels
Does anyone here have any experience with some of these dealers that sell stock, chrome 9 spoke wheels on eBay in exchange for your stock wheels???
I wanna put chrome wheels on my 05 EGC. HD has them new for about 650 per wheel whereas I can buy two "exchanged" chrome wheels for about the same price. My only concern is buying a "used" wheel essentially.

How do you know the wheels you get back aren't damaged or out of round. Wait till winter and send yor wheels oot.instead of chrome, you may want to check out Physical Vapor Deposition process.

Hmmm... Physical Vapor Deposition looks interesting.
So let me pose this question then...
Is it better to just send my wheels out to be chromed or PVDP'd knowing the condition of them already? Cost difference between chroming and PVDP?
Or just bite the bullet and drop $1200 on a brand new set of wheels?
