...oh man.."why the bashing?"...you haven't been on blogs much I guess...it's become a national pastime...check out a political blog sometime...me personally, I like the changes with the 14..but won't buy one because the power isn't enough of an increase to justify the cost..if they had 120tq/120hp..I'd be all over it...thanks to all who bought 14's..if nobody bought em..there wouldn't be a Harley-Davidson...it may be my turn in 2015!..

 

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I won't bash anyone for buying one either. But if someone posts their opinions of the bikes, I will do the same. I personally feel it goes a little deeper than this though. Many people have felt that Harley Davidson air cooled engines have been a point of pride, almost a part of our heritage. I think some feel a little betrayed. You can't blame the MoCo for making changes ... every business makes changes to remain competitive. Give people time. Personally, I'm going to try to keep my 2011 as long as possible. Now more than ever, it means something different to me.

 

I get a kick out of those responses...."you don't agree with me so you must be jealous"....um no, I just don't share the same opinion; what is this 5th grade?

 

I say to each his/her own. Bashing by personal account is one thing but bashing off what you read or what your buddy told you is another. I say get first hand account before anyone pass judgment good or bad.

When the 2018 comes out I will post I am keeping my 2014 street glide.. LoL it will never really end.

 

Seeking approval or help to rationalize a decision on an Internet discussion board is nuts.Reminds me of women when one of 'em gets a really ugly hairstyle from the beauty salon.Doesn't matter if it's a Mohawk,the other girls are gonna praise it to the heavens.I don't get how being open minded and seeing all the pros and cons before dropping 25 grand or more on two wheeled vehicle is a bad thing.
