I'm definitely interested in getting a set of these. Please let us know. I'll jump on them if they are any good at all. My concern is are they actually painted or is it just the black plastic?

ok guys.. fedex showed up as I was literally walking out the door so had to wait til I got home to give you the run down.

All I can really say is wow! I'm floored at the price and the quality.

The quality of these is lightweight ABS (not as heavyweight as stock) and painted vivid black to perfection

here's a pic of the left lower

and here's a pic of what's in the box.

now I will say.. assembly ain't for the faint of heart because these come with absolutely NO instructions but it's easy enough to look at the service manual or Ronnie's HD online microfiche and see how it goes together. The glove box fronts are not painted but a heavyweight ABS plastic with a textured finish to them. I won't be using those. The glove box leather covers are of a heavyweight leather or leatherette material with chrome snaps.

All in all I'm very pleased with this purchase. Only 3 things would have made it better;
1. Instructions for assembly would have been nice
2. If I could have gotten the painted speaker pods from them would have saved me the trouble of having to get them painted. I ordered those seperately from Fairing Factory for $105.
3. They would have come with the necessary clamp for the engine guard but that's easy enough to pick up from HD.

Hope that helps you guys decide...
