Ha...little AM humor from the MidWest...although we used to get quite a few "Miller Ponies" in my Vetter fairing back in the day...with ice to boot.

on a day-to-day basis: Right Saddlebag - tools (http://www.storagepouches.com). My functional rain pants (first gear), extra gloves, jacket liner, face shield for scorpion 3/4 helmet. reading glasses in strap pouch.
Left Saddlebag - tools (http://www.storagepouches.com). Her rain gear, gloves, jacket liner.
rear crash bar bags : Boot covers, Bug Slide and clothes. sunscreen, hand sanitizer, tire repair kit.
TP: baseball hat, ipod, iphone, gps case, owners manual, registration/insurance/ESP cards. Use tourpak to store helmets when stop for lunch, put purchases along the way.
we wear Olympia airglide jackets that are mesh with zip in thermal liner and zip in waterproof liner (liners are in his / her saddlebag).
For trips, everything changes.
