AS it stands right now leaving it stock until Zippers comes out with the new Thundermax. From there I do plan to do the V&H Power Duals but up in the air on exhaust. I have a brand new set of CFR's but not sure I will put them on. Looking at the S&S SPO and the V&H Monster Square.

Ive had:

03 EG Classic BONE STOCK

05 EG Classic Stage 1, download, slipons

07 SG 103 jugs, 255 cams, S1 intake, V&H ovals, SERT, dyno tune

09 SG 96, Ventilator intake, V&H monster ovals, SERT, dyno tune

And now

2014 Ultra Limited "wethead" Slipons only (for sound) no download/tuning

I honestly don't think I will ever even do a stage 1 intake on the Limited. IM that happy with it. I guess if:

A: I had $350.00 burning a hole in my pocket

and

B: They would do the download only, and not give me the line about needing $1000 worth of tuner/dyno time just to add an intake in conjunction with the slip-ons, I MIGHT consider it. But REALLY not planning on it.

The fact that I could buy this one, leave it stock, (other than slipons) and be happy with it, without having to tune for performance and heat reduction, is the biggest reason I got the 2014 limited. Its about ****ing time I can buy a Harley and NOT have to sink another $2000 into it to get it to run decent and not cook me.

Not horribly crazy about the stock airbox, especially after having the ventilator on my 09, but its growing on me, and it fits the "look" of the limited more than It would have my SG, So I doubt I will change it for cosmetic reasons, OR performance reasons.

Also NOT going to go chrome crazy on this one. Not that I didn't like what I did to the 09, just going after something different, (and coincidentally cheaper) this time around.

I was over $33,000 into my 09 SG. And I STILL wanted to do 255 cams, and two tone it (very similar to the layout of the limited or 2012 CVO SG) So thats another what? $4000?

IM under the $30,000 Mark on the 2014, and other than chrome forks, which will come this winter with my yearly 30 percent off any one item coupon, she's done. (oh, other than the passenger backrest needs to be made to match my custom seat)

Most of the 2014 twin cooled bikes are in the shop getting fixed. Get the SG, you couldn't pay me to own one of the 2014 liquid cooled HDs.

Not literally, Lighten up Francis . But enough to be a concerned. Have been following the thread on this, and 4 people in one thread have had this issue or have friends had an issues with the new cooling systems. The HD techs have not received proper training on how to work on the new system, they don't have a freakin clue, that's kind of concerning to me.

FOUR.

Out of how many sold?

FOUR

And how many people are FREAKING OUT that the new design is no good based on that?

Um, How bout this: Theres FOUR screwed up bikes that came off the line. Guess what, it happens. I feel bad for the guy who's dealing with it, but honestly, sounds more like an incompetent/******* dealer issue than anything.

Thats ok bud, FAR more people bitching about the leg roasting heat your motor puts out than are having problems with the twin-cooled motors. And its been that way since 2007.

Suggest you take your own advice and lighten up. Or at least stop spewing FUD over FOUR bad bikes.
