This should help you out

Thank you for your inquiry. I am sorry, but this lamp is not designed to have the high and low beams on at the same time.

Thank you,

I bet a simple wire mod would fix that.
With the lower amp pull of the LED lamps, should not be a problem.

Sorry, hope I didn't confuse anyone. My pics are the truck light phase 7's, not the Harley version. I was just giving an example of what the new Harley lights look like.

I'm going to disagree with you. I saw many TL phase 7's and HD LED's and the HD were much more noticeable when coming at you then the Phase 7's. If that doesn't bother you then don't sweat it. I personally like the extra daytime visibility. I will be getting the JW version of the HD LED from Discount Fleet this winter. They run about 375.00

I am talking about the new HD LED headlight which is a rebranded or cloned Phase 7. Not the JW Speaker made Daymaker.

And as far as daytime visibility I run my Phase 7 on high beam during the day for better visibility. I am not viewing it from the front myself but I have seen them run on high beam during the day on other bikes passing by and they were very bright and visible. I will agree that the JWS Daymaker is a little more visible during the day because it has a slight blueish cast to it.

Thanks for the comparison. The phase 7 style does not seem quite as bright in the night time photos, unless it's just me.

Well said.
I am also a fan of the TLP7, but it does need to be on bright during the daytime for maximum visibility. I did the passing lamp wire mod to blaze all 3 on bright during the daytime.
IMHO.

I'm seriously considering the Trucklite but the only thing that's keeping me away is the way I was it sticks out.How much thicker is it?
