I can't stick up for Dragonfly Concepts either. I ordered one of their Tour Pack mounts online. They charged my credit card instantly. After 8 days of no emails regarding my order I called. I was told there must have been a "system error". They shot me an invoice and said they'd get it out to me. After 14 days of nothing I contacted them via email, no response. On day 17 I called and was told the mount was on order. After another 14 days of nothing I sent emails and tried calling and got no response or anyone answering the phone. I waited a couple of days then sent an email requesting they cancel my order. A couple of days later I get a phone call that the mount was on its way to them and once it arrived they'd ship it out. I asked them to just cancel my order and refund my credit card. The guy on the phone said he would do as I asked. Ten days after that I still received no refund to my card so I opened a dispute with my credit card company, provided them with the details. Credit card company refunded me my money and sent me notice that Dragonfly concepts never returned their request for information.
That's just not how I would conduct business if that were my shop.
Therein lies the protection of a credit card sale.....
mikie3737, that is EXTREMELY similar to my situation. I have been holding out for a miracle. Kevin (as 'DRAGONFLY2000' - premium sponsor on these boards) has been surfing here all week. He has to have seen these posts and I am wondering if he will pipe in. My bank is already very interested in what is going here and just waiting for word to begin action. If the hearsay on this board is correct, it seems to me that some folks could be in for a rough ride.
Unfortunately if this company claims bankruptcy/chapter 11 everyone who has money in DF's hand is shi# out of luck. Chalk it up as a loss and move forward. Sacrifice in other areas financially in your life that you would normally do to make up for what you got beat for from DF...Hopefully this company does come around and does the right thing but from the stories on this thread its not sounding very promising..
This is not making me a happy person. I ordered my 2013 cvo fairing from dragonfly on july 6th, they charged me that day, $1834 for just the fairing and paint. They told me 6 to 8 weeks for delievery and would try to get it to me sooner. 8 weeks came and past no word or nothing. I waited some more cause I really did not want to be a hassle for them. I called them sept 23rd, they told me they were having problems with the graphics matching and wanted to get it perfect, I told them no problem, take your time. He told me he would get it out to me in 2 more weeks, I said thank you. 3 full weeks went buy and I heard from no one, so now my wife is getting mad and she calls on mon oct 7th, they told her that their painter was coming back tomorrow and he would have it out to us in 2 weeks again. My wife was very polite as to not make them think we were asses or anything. Here it is November 8th, still no calls from them, and now I am reading all this stuff. I just really hope I get this fairing, good friends of mine that are long time bikers told me their products are very very good, if not the best, so I will be waiting still. I guess I will give them a ring next week.
Again, I have no dog in this fight but...ANOTHER new poster bashing...WTF??? I am not saying this is BS but it is sure starting to smell a bit...

Have you not read the whole thread? Obviously the OP doesn't have an isolated experience with this company whether he put in his stupid profile that he is from Uranus, Pluto or Cleveland Ohio..

Read every bit of it...Like I said, it smells...Dragonfly may be having issues but a thread full of brand new posters bashing a company stinks...period...

Im interested to see your opinion of their motive for posting in a thread about a company thats allegedly ripping them off? Im not about to sift through all 3 previous pages of this thread and count the people who posted negative posts but off the top of my head there was at least 7 separate posters with negative experiences and claiming fraud. One poster even stated he drove by their location and it was being cleared out. I myself don't have a dog in this fight but as a person on the outside looking in I have to say theres a good chance their is some truth behind this company not doing the right thing. If you were a betting man can you honestly say you would bet all these posters with negative experiences are making up stories?

Not saying that at all. I am just saying it is REALLY ODD that so many new posters are signing up in a single thread to bash a company. I wouldn't send Dragonfly a dollar of my money now because of this thread and that's my point. They have bashed the hell out of a company and no one has a clue if it is all BS or not...
I do find it crazy that this thread is still even open. I was OBVIOUSLY and VERIFIABLY ripped off by a vendor here and the mods closed and deleted my thread. I even posted video proof...They deleted it all to protect a crooked sponsor...Strange...Maybe Dragonfly stopped paying the bills here too...
