LOL...you send a BBB rating for the company and it has one bad rating? Not bad for all the fairings they have sold. Called the company and the phone still works. Just so you know when IRS seizes a company they put a recording to let customers know what they need to do to recoup their money...
Deleted original post. Got here through a search and did not see OP's FIRST post. I'm not on an attack bandwagon, just trying to get some answers. Will keep trying to contact DF - a few days out of contact doesn't necessarily mean a company has gone under...

Reason: same as below...just looking for answers; not here to slam folks
I've ordered painted parts from Harley, and it's taken six weeks. That was for vivid black saddlebag lowers, which is about as common as a part gets, Harley sells them by the thousands, and you'd think they'd have them just laying around, but they don't. And, I paid up-front.
Dragonfly is a much, much smaller company, and paint takes time. If you order one with paint and stereo gear, it's a custom part. They don't stock painted fairings, and if you're matching CVO paint, it will take even longer.
I've had two Dragonfly detach fairings. I've posted on the earlier threads how the company took very good care of me, including replacing one fairing without question when it had a problem. I took some flak from some of the guys who just want to bash the company, including one guy who demanded that I stop defending Dragonfly. lmao.
I've never had a problem with them, and I've got several friends with their fairings. I'd send my closest friends and relatives to Dragonfly if they needed a fairing.
A platform? Wow I guess you feel its ok to start a bad thread about a company that for all we know had issues with this guy, ever think about the other side? Maybe I wouldn't care if the guy started a thread that said has anyone else had problems with dragon fly? Instead he bashed a company from the get go. My guess is the guy got tired of waiting wanted his money back and Dragon Fly said its non refundable because its a custom part. Could be wrong but doubt it. I saw these guys at the Laughlin river run and they where slammed with customers, they just moved to Anaheim in a high rent zone so they have to be doing something right. Notice they to "newbies" never came back in here to explain further? BS!
Yea i do feel its okay. Its not only this guy. Google this company and you will see for yourself. This thread even has complaints from others involving this company. If you were in the market for an aftermarket fairing you would want to be forewarned about a certain company with negative practices. Whether they are going to fully rip him off or the communication is terrible or the date promised exceeds the date by more than 2-3 weeks...people should be made away of them. An internet forum community such as this can keep companies in check reminding them that customer service is a major part of having a successful business. Same reason why ebay has ratings. Same reason why Angie's list has ratings. Companies know that too many blemishes on their ratings will hinder their companies success. Do the right thing. Get good ratings. Fall short and well get crap ratings. I know that everyone isnt able to be pleased no matter if its a perfect experience from ordering to receiving but this guys' complaint isnt an isolated case regarding problems with this company.
So let me get this straight there are "numerous" postings on how bad there customer service is and someone still orders parts from them? Well maybe we should start rating the morons that keep ordering from them AFTER they see the postings...its called slander by the way, Pretty big talk from a guy that's lives in "Uranus"...They owe someone a faring well jump in your cage and get down there and see what's up. If you can afford a 2500.00 fairing my guess is you can afford a flight to John Wayne Airport and get your mula back?
My post concerned lack of contact with DF. Deleted because it doesn't fit in with OP's attack. Will keep trying to contact DF and get resolution but so far my only issue is not being able to get in contact with them. Other posters mentioning companies going out of business, IRS issues, etc without providing proof of their statements cause unnecessary fear and anticipation.
Peace

Reason: deleted; realized OP is slamming a merchant and that's not my gig...just looking for answers
In the original post, OP says he did all the research in the world. Then comes back today and posts how a simple search of forums will prove they are a shady company. My question is, if so easy to find this proof, and you did such extensive research, why did you order from them?
I don't understand why you would order from a Co.that you have seen numerous complaints. But, on the other hand you certainly deserve to get your money back. Perhaps a trip to the Co. really is the answer. Perhaps a letter from your lawyer would be cheaper and more effective. I bought a Dead Center Fairing and I couldn't be happier with their product, and customer service. When you get your money back, try Dead Center.

First, why would anyone want a bike without a faring? Seriously though, I must agree with DynaJ. Why the hell do people continue to reward this type of non-customer service? It's amazing what people will put up with these days.
OP...Your Uranus location and low post count points to a made-up user for the purpose of bashing the company...whether they deserve it or not.
If you have a legitimate complaint, then grow some damn ***** and post it under your real user name. And please remember, a period is your friend.
When I was looking for a fairing 2 years ago I did a pretty thorough search of this forum about them.
There is a ton of info but the one nagging theme I kept seeing about Dragonfly was delays and lack of communication. No complaints about the product once you finally got it, if you got it. Guys with them seem to really like them but I saw enough of the same concern to turn me in another direction.
I got a Dead Center and couldnt be happier, especially with their customer service. Do a search on this forum and try to find a complaint about them.
That's what I like about this forum, you can learn from others experiences, good and bad.
