They had advertised being at the lone star rally in Galveston last week. My friend planned to buy one from them there. They didn't show up.
I've bought 2 wide open customs fairings. Couldn't be happier. Best of luck to the OP to get some resolution.
I'm worried about this issue too. I contacted DF in September becasue I wanted a Fairing from my 2003 RK. I sent and received back several mails with Mr. Kevin Martin.
All was perfect and fluid. I got very good help and information. So I made the order on 09/23/2013, and of course paid it in advance.
I obtained an invoice with estimated shipment date 10/18/2013. At the end of October I could speak with Mr. Martin and he told me that in next few days they would send me the Fairing (it is not painted, because my bike has special custom paint)...
Days are passing and I'm very worried becasue of the lack of communication. I have sent several e-mails with no result. I am making phone calls every day, but always I find a recorded message and it's not possible to speak with anyone.
As you can imagine, phone calls from Spain to SoCa are not cheaper at all....
I have no problem in waiting some weeks to receive the product, but I'm really annoyed about the lack of reply to my e-mails.
Well, sorry for my complains, I will continue trying to contact the.
my guess is they are at SEMA this week...better check Monday OR you can always call ARC audio and ask if they are still around that's their main supplier of speakers in Orange County...
I can't stick up for Dragonfly Concepts either. I ordered one of their Tour Pack mounts online. They charged my credit card instantly. After 8 days of no emails regarding my order I called. I was told there must have been a "system error". They shot me an invoice and said they'd get it out to me. After 14 days of nothing I contacted them via email, no response. On day 17 I called and was told the mount was on order. After another 14 days of nothing I sent emails and tried calling and got no response or anyone answering the phone. I waited a couple of days then sent an email requesting they cancel my order. A couple of days later I get a phone call that the mount was on its way to them and once it arrived they'd ship it out. I asked them to just cancel my order and refund my credit card. The guy on the phone said he would do as I asked. Ten days after that I still received no refund to my card so I opened a dispute with my credit card company, provided them with the details. Credit card company refunded me my money and sent me notice that Dragonfly concepts never returned their request for information.
That's just not how I would conduct business if that were my shop.
Q, I just stared at your avatar for 10 minutes here at work! Good job!
I remember a company called "Big Bear Choppers" that got into $$ trouble and started taking payment from customers, high dollar deposits on outrageously priced custom choppers, and had to use that money to pay past due bills. That snowballed into Federal charges an eventually a lot of people losing a lot of money. Not saying anything bad about DF as I have zero experience with them, but there sure are a lot of similarities here. Just sayin'...
Had a buddy of mine drive by their shop, place is being cleaned out....... front office has nothing in it looked like they were selling a bike of theirs and some sand rail...... its really too bad i feel bad for the guys that have their money tied up with them still
This is not making me a happy person. I ordered my 2013 cvo fairing from dragonfly on july 6th, they charged me that day, $1834 for just the fairing and paint. They told me 6 to 8 weeks for delievery and would try to get it to me sooner. 8 weeks came and past no word or nothing. I waited some more cause I really did not want to be a hassle for them. I called them sept 23rd, they told me they were having problems with the graphics matching and wanted to get it perfect, I told them no problem, take your time. He told me he would get it out to me in 2 more weeks, I said thank you. 3 full weeks went buy and I heard from no one, so now my wife is getting mad and she calls on mon oct 7th, they told her that their painter was coming back tomorrow and he would have it out to us in 2 weeks again. My wife was very polite as to not make them think we were asses or anything. Here it is November 8th, still no calls from them, and now I am reading all this stuff. I just really hope I get this fairing, good friends of mine that are long time bikers told me their products are very very good, if not the best, so I will be waiting still. I guess I will give them a ring next week.
