Default Broken Bumper and bracket
This is the 2nd time they broke. Has anyone experienced this?
also
What can i use in place of the bumper? I like the one piece fender light and filler panels on the newer bikes. Thanks, Vinnie

You can take the bumper off if you use the road glide bracket, pn#91140-04. That's what I did on my ultra

Yes it will fit your bike. MSRP is $49.47. It is called a saddlebag support bracket. There is an aftermarket available as well from Drag

1421-0005 is the Drag number but it shows as $10 more than the HD part

I have an 05 Electra Glide , and my saddlebag support bracket and bumper both broke on the same side several months apart. I thought it was due to dropping my bike hard on the left side about a year ago. I had both welded and no further problems so far.

They both broke about 2years ago. Had them welded and all was good. The bumper bracket broke around the 4th of July...welded it again. Now the bag support bracket is broken.
Why would it keep breaking? I would like to replace the bumper with the street glide light...but I don't want it to break. Thanks, Vinnie
