Is there a "real" noticeable difference between the power of the new 110's vs the 103's ?
I ask this becouse I may be looking at a CVO. Thanks for your responses, Craig

I did. The HD demo days was in town. I got to ride both, and I felt a little more torque in the 110 in the seat of my pants. I think the best bang for the buck is the Limited. However, I would buy the CVO Limited, being a CVO Ultra owner. I want all the she-bang my hard earned cash can muster.
the CVO 110 had the SE255 cam, unless the new ones have a different grind. Toss a Wood 555 or 777 in there with a tuner and exhaust and you will be happy. Check Fuelmoto site which has some dyno sheets with Woods cams.

YES!!! Until you cam a 103. And if that still aint enough, get a top end kit (heads ported/polished with compression bump). Still not enough? Then go to a 107. Either way, you will run circles around 110 motors and still come out a whole lot cheaper.
Someone vandalized my 103 engine (sand in oil). Insurance replaced it. Paid an extra $700 to the dealer to put in a 110. At least a 20lb increase in torque.

Don't know about running circles, but you'll walk away.
CVO = badges & 255 cams (yawn.) They do have "nice paint" though.
While both may be true, the same applications can be made to the 110" motor.
So, figure cams and headwork on a 110", and you'll be even further ahead.
My take - it's a 850# motorcycle. I'm not looking to break any records, and having the 110" makes easy work of mountain passes and uphill climbs, with plenty of torque to spare.
