I love my bike and really don't care if anyone else likes it or not. It's my money, I earned it and I will spend it the way I like. Buy what you like I won't sit here and bash you for it, it's your money right?
Saw the torque curves and the new high output 103 is very close to stock 110. Very attractive and save 12 Grand over a cvo!!!!
I think you might want to look a bit harder, the motor isn't the only upgrade you get on a CVO. If you don't want to buy one, don't. I can't understand the constant need here to bash CVO owners. It isn't like we took the money out of your bank account to buy the bike????

people are always jealous of those that have more than them. they don't have it, and contrary to what they say, they want it. maybe they don't want the bike per se, but there is a perceived 'affluence' if you have a cvo.
in reality, my bike payment isn't really any more than someone who just bought a street glide off the street. start off small and work your way up. when you have a decent trade in which gets you 17k off the purchase price, it can be done. also, i'm driving a 2003 ford f150 thats been paid off for years. would i like a new truck? sure i would, but i don't need a new truck. i needed my 2013 cvo roadglide
I'm not seeing anyone bash CVO owners in this thread.
I'm saying that had I not gotten a screaming deal on a used one, I'd feel cheated. I'm also saying that the CVO Ultra, due to certain stylistic choices, is a less practical Touring bike than a Limited is.
One thing to keep in mind is that the 103 engines in the bikes today, are NOT the same 103 engines in the CVOs of 2004-2006. Those engines came with Cams, SE Heads and were Stroked. They are considered by many who have owned both a CVO 103 and a CVO 110, to be the best and most realiable engine Harley ever made.

I know train, I agree. It would be hard for me to pick between the limited and CVO now they are fairly close. Having said that, I don't like any of the 14's so that solves that problem.

I'm not bashing the cvo owners. I am one. Paid cash plus my 06 ultra for the 10 crimson mist. All I'm saying is the new limited is a better buy now and many agree. 40k for cvo is too much. U can bling up a regular 14 limited and still be 9 to 10k ahead. Ok so no heated seat or locking fobs. Those are nice features. The seat is a grand I'm told. Yes it's fun to have cvo but not 40k fun. My nicely appointed 350 hp car was 33k!
