I'll throw something out that you can check. Put the bike on a jack and do the swing test. The manual tells you how to test for the correct tension on the neck bearing. Don't know why so many would be miss-adjusted, but that's what it sounds like to me.

Dealer did just that, everything was solid and tight. They were getting another 14 in on Friday, service manager was going to do the post prep test ride to see if it's "normal" .
I have a 2014 Limited with 4700 miles and have not heard any noises coming from the front end. Just returned from a trip to Maine and rode on some pretty bad roads and no unusual noises.
I remain clunkless, darn, If I was supposed to get a clunk with this bike I was cheated. I have no leaking, no unusual noises, no nothing extra but total enjoyment out of this bike. I was obviously cheated and want my money back from MoCo
Be careful what you wish for. I have a 2009 Ultra....and the gauges never fog up...ever. Until last week.......water droplets in the gas gauge. Normal.
I'm feeling REALLY cheated. No clunk in the fairing, leak from the radiators, drips of oil, soft clutch,.....nothing.
Seriously, why are you hitting holes? That thing you hold on to is called a handlebar. You're suppose to use that to steer around crap in the road. I live in Alabama. We know potholes.

I was thinking the same thing - steering neck bearing adjustment. Take it back to the dealer under warranty and have them do the fall away test.
Ask any professional truck driver that drives in Pa. We have the worst roads in the country. Infamous for that. Potholes were born here. One of the things I really like about my new Limited is the better handling that allows me to steer away from the great majority of them. The handling of this heavy tour bike is the best ever. It does however require the rider to watch the road, and manuever to miss them.
