True...but I am haveing some custom 2-piece clamps made, so that extra or minus 1/8 inch can make a big difference....my bike is in shop right now so no way to measure...
nada1: I just measuredthe down tubes on my '05 RK Classic with a very good Vernier Micrometer; 1.130 inches. So I assume that the bare metal tubing in 1 1/8 in. and the paint layers adds just a little to the original. ........... BC
