Cool parts department

a good parts guy or girl will know if your purchase comes with mounting hardware! from personal experience, i always ask about wiring and mounting parts! once you get the mounting hardware, you have to hope it's the right mounting hardware! there's no substitute for a parts department that has seen the parts before. i've had harley parts people open my parts box and say this aint right! good luck! cheers from montana

my parts guy, when I order something, reads out loud they entire 'description' so 1. he knows he's ordering everything and 2. so I know what I'm ordering. Although I usually go in prepared and have done my research. My tourpak for my 99 standard i had to order mounting "components" separate but I knew that.

Now, if you were replacing an existing tourpak, and therefore did not need the hardware, you probably would have complained if they sent you hardware you did not need.
