Ordered C&C seat on Monday, got it today. Its a two tone Mercedes Benz and smooth texture with red top stitch. Just like everyone said...put me back and down. Not that I verified the one inch everyone said, but my feet are definitely planted more firmly on the ground at stops and I definitely feel the additional space between me and the fairing. Threw my feet on the floor boards and could really feel the additional comfort from being back more. Most importantly, I feel like I sit "in" the bike (what I miss about my Deluxe).
But here is what I noticed immediately. The seat is much firmer than the stock one. As in cycling, soft seats can cause problems over longer distance..therefore, we sit on "saddles" and not seats. This thing feels like a saddle. I only got to put a few miles on it and I'm happy so far. I was afraid that the backrest would be too low and not adjust enough. It is absolutely perfect.....and as far as I'm concern, it doesn't adjust forward and back "a little"...it adjusts quite a bit.
I'll order the passenger seat next week and mail them my sissy bar pad. Thanks for all the reviews and recommendations guys!!!
I've had two C&C Solo seats, one for FatBoy and now one for the Street Glide. My suggestion......give it time and put some miles on it. They do soften up. My only issue is.....I wish I would have gotten the FastBack. Just like the looks of it a little better on the SG.
I've had a lot of seats and 4 C&Cs. They are hands down the best people to work with and one of the most comfortable over the long haul.... IMHO....YMMV
That's beautiful. I hope you don't mind me saying but I think I'd like that exact same seat. I find their ordering form to be a bit confusing though. It says "style" and a list of numbers to choose from. I don't get this. I might be partially retarded. Mind sharing model info?

That's a solo with backrest. Just call Chuck on Monday and talk to him. They'll make you whatever you want in whatever colors/stitching you want. Real easy to deal with. Tell him you're on HDF they'll give you 10% off too!
Northwoodz, you did tell me and I appreciate it. Dugan, I actually like it firm. I hope it doesn't soften up too much. My reference to it being a saddle (like in cycling) was a positive reference. Firmer seats offer better support....hence that little itty bitty thing on my Cannondale Race Bike is soooo comfortable. BigDaddyMike is correct and I called Chuck who then emailed me many pictures of seats. I told him the color of my bike, my ideas, and he sent pictures he thought I'd like. I told him I was a subtle kind of guy and he sent me pics of subtle seats. The website is horrible, in my opinion. I have referred friends already...and they call me confused about the site.

I did go with their Fastback on an Ultra. I like it a bunch. After 4,000+ miles I think it's just as firm as when I got it. It beats a Corbin all to heck. Don't know what happened to them. They used to make a good seat but the last one I got was very cheap for the price.
