I have the new style (flops both front and backward) HD riders backrest. Not the adjustable one, the standard.
Anyhow, Im feeling like the pad is just a bit too small, and also the cushion is not very supportive. In fact after an hour i begin feeling the inner hardware within the pad.
Anyhow, where can i buy a replacement backrest which would fit in the HD mount so i dont need to buy an entirely new mount?
the backrest can be adjusted so that it does not flop fore and aft...the bottom "hinge" bolt, i think, takes 2 x 7/16" wrenches. the top takes 1 7/16" and a torx or allen...can't remember.

try adjusting before tossing and spending

The flop is the least of my concerns ... the pad itself is not good, i mean the cushion. Just squeezing it with my fungers you can feel the bar inside the pad ... imagine leaning on it for a few hours lol
Maybe its ok for some, but personally id like a little less "bar" or "rail" jabbing into me on my rides lol
just want to know which others will fit the HD mounting hardware, or maybe i can just get this pad off and put a new pad on the mounting arm?
