the tire only has 8,800 miles on it. im fairly good about checking my pressure. I will check out the cupping issue tomorrow and if nothing else I will just replace the front tire as a precaution.
i think i have determined what the problem is.. i just completed a 800 mile ride out to the BBB Rally and before i left i installed a 12" windshield since we were going to be riding in some heavy rain for the ride out.
during the trip i had no issues at all, but when i returned i noticed the head shake at about 35 mph if i took my hands from the bars.
so last night i pulled the windshield off and went back with the original on my ride in this morning the problem was solved.
does it sound like that could have been the entire problem or is there still possibly an underlying issue??
