Today I have owned my 2011 FLHTK for two full years. WOW, what a rush it's been and I am so far very happy with my purchase. A year ago I wrote up a pretty long summary of my one year experience and today all I want to do is say Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way with guidance and support whenever I had a question or just for a good laugh reading some reply's that were written.
So far no problems and since my warranty ran out today, it's all on my dime from now on! I didn't ride it like I just stole it, I just rode the heck out of it for the past 24 months loving every bit of it. No garage/driveway queen here. My goal now is to get 150K miles out of it. Doubt I'll ever get there, but I'm going to try!

Ride Safe Everyone! and heading to Sturgis 2014
CONGRATS! Always great to see someone else who bought their bike to RIDE, and not just to the dealer to buy more chrome or attend a HOG chapter meeting or 20 mile dinner ride!
Have you considered an ESP for it, just in case?
We're doing Sturgis in 2014 as well, hopefully we can have some type of informal forum get together!
I had a friend post his mileage on FB from his road glide last night... 100,000 miles in 2 years 18 days and said his bike is running strong! Keep up the great job riding
Your experience is like the majority on the Touring section. Many miles without issue. Good for you and your riding.
My 10 Ultra has 27K and always has gotten me home. I have 9 other HD's that get a share of the 30K that I ride each year. So it is unlikely that I will have any one of the reach even 100K. I don't part with them so it will be the next owner after I'm gone that will have to reach that benchmark.
I bought my 09 last Dec with 18,500 miles on it. I now have 34,300 miles on it. 1 compensater,1 stator. both at the same time. all in all a great bike. Especially after I put the Andrews 48H cams in it. WOW.
From: 12 year, Colombia, 4 years Mexico, currently In Kuwait, but Boston is HOME!!
Got a little over on my 2010 Limited and with proper maintenence and up-keep I have had no issues and dont forsee any. I love the scoot and am looking forward to many more miles. I have to say, I was looking at maybe a trade in for a new CVO or limited with the water cooling, but after reading about all the issues I will stay away for the next two years. Maybe after that, time will tell.. Ride safe
Nice to see someone post about trouble free riding. I think all of us tend to focus on what can go wrong when we read all these posts. I also have been very lucky with my bikes and have rarely (knock on wood) had any issues. I bought my 2008 FLHT new thinking it would be the bike I rode from now on until I just wore it out. That changed when I happened upon a 2010 FLHXSE that I had always dreamed of owning.
Hope you have many trouble free miles ahead. As someone else mentioned, you may want to check into extending the ESP. I plan to purchase an extension for mine since I plan to keep this one for quite a while.
34k on my bike; will have had it three years in November.
In the same timeframe my Jeep has managed to get just over 10k.
If you look at the sig, you can see how quickly the miles add up.
Despite living in the Upper Midwest, my bike also sees a majority of the miles I put on annually. Last month, I put on 250 miles on my SUV. It's not uncommon for my SUV to sit 4-5 days per week.
Unfortunately with winter coming sooner rather than later, that will change.
