Another good tip. i guess that if I can get the bars changed, the lines on and the air out, i can always go back to HD to have it digital teched if needed.
i went by the INDY with intent of trying out bars and end up spending my bar money on pipes, tuner and ac...dang it, now i got wait another month for a little disposable income.
I wonder what the guys with the LINKED braking systems will have to do?
i dont trust the dealer thats why i try my very best to do it myself or i dont install it.ive been juggling this idea about putting apes on my bike because of the brake line and bleeding abs system.the last time my bike went to the dealer was for a recall and they dropped my bike off the lift.they had to put on my 2011 roadglide ultra new cvo bars,windshield,l/s saddle bag.if i had known then i wanted apes i would have had them put them on but at that time all i was thinking was how was i going to walk around with a HD tech on the front of my boot

Right you are...My bikes has only been back to the dealer for recalls and I stayed with it or had my eyes on it the entire time....If anyones going to screw my bike up, it will be me!!!!!
I just replaced the front line on my wifes FXDC, didn't do anything to the ABS just bled it like a regular system and the dash light shut off like it always has. The pro's say as long as you don't turn the ignition on and all the air is out of the line your good. My test ride concluded the same.
