CFR KO's installed, quite impressed
I ordered CFR KO's from Eastern Performance on EBAY for buy it now $250ish. I have been considering a set of real CFR's for a long time now but I never wanted to drop all that money on mufflers that might be too loud, might make my bike run bad, might blue etc. etc. The internet is its own worst enemy sometimes.
Eastern Performance had the KO's at my door in 2 days. The quality of these mufflers looks great! No blems and the chrome looks great. One thing to note is that the muffler body is not round like I thought it would be. The muffler body is oval with a raised ridge running along the bottom.
These things rock! I was running Rush true duals and the KO's replaced my Rush slipons with 1.75" baffles. The KO's are quieter than the rush at idle and cruise but when you crack the throttle the KO's will straight up hurt your ears! Nasty! Ive got them on my 13 ultra limited and while they aren't too loud they do have that weird big muffler droning thing going on. Ear plug will be needed for touring which is fine because I usually wear them anyway
My bike feels like its running the same as with the rush slipons, no power loss and the same MPG'S. I did 200 miles with the KO's and did a few autotune runs with the power vision and KO's. So far so good!
These KO's are supposedly made by DNA but I cant confirm that, who knows. I will now buy some real CFR's for my street glide
