Their website says +1 won't work with lowers? I want to order the +1 for my street glide with lowers.
Can you post a couple pics, please?
Earlier in the thread there are pictures of my install. The Softbrake standard pedal for the 2014 is the same length but 20deg less. The pedal is fully in front of the floor board.
I'll try to post some pics later but I believe there is a previous post on this thread where somebody put up 4 pics with before/after. Definitely can't go with a +1 or +2 with lowers. IMO you wouldn't want that anyway unless you are wearing huge boot size. The SB014 (p) I installed allows me access to the entire floorboard without hitting the pedal. Transitioning my right foot from foot peg to rear brake is much easier and quicker now too. I can see why they said the +1 and +2 won't work with lowers though. It's because there just isn't anymore clearance for the pedal to come down without hitting the inside. On mine, I have only about a half inch of clearance left. Hope that helps.
Seat and brake pedal are horrible. Completely changed from the 2013 ultra classic limited. Trying to figure what to do. The seat is forward and because I'm 6'2" I have to raise my foot off the floorboard to use the brake. Found out the pedal is higher and shorter. Looking at the tall boy seat but it doesn't take the adjustable back rest. What to do?

Hey Samsatuck I can only agree with you on the brake pedal location as I am only 5'11 and the seating position seems fine for me. I just purchased the extended brake pedal from my local HD store and I will install tomorrow. I hope this new pedal will allow me to have my foot fully on the floor board and not at all underneath the brake pedal. Will post a few pics once installed.

Did this work out for you, I hear the extended won't work with lowers, thinking about the Soft Brake Pedal that lowers the pedal 20° or if anyone has a better solution......
I'm 6'0 and am mostly comfortable with the seat (barely), but the stock brake pedal has to go.

Riding position and seating is very personal, so I can only offer what worked for me. I'm 6'2", 220lbs with a 33/34 inseam. The stock setup on my Ultra didn't even come close to fitting me. I ordered a SoftBrake pedal before I even picked up the bike. I have the SoftBrake Regular extended pedal , floorboard extensions and a 2" extended rear shift lever. This setup gives me plenty of room and comfort on both sides of the bike. I had the same setup on my Heritage.
I tried the HD TallBoy seat. The one for the 2013 moves you 2" back, the 2014 moves you 1 1/2" back. The problem was that they slope forward and I kept sliding forward. I tried the Ultimate 2 piece TallBoy seat (http://ultimateseats.ca/), since a lot of my riding will be without the TourPack. It saved me from buying a 2up seat and a solo seat. They offer a 2 week "no questions asked" return policy. The seat sits. you 2" back and down into the seat , with no sliding forward. It also has a backrest bracket built into the seat. I managed to put on over 2,000 miles in the month before the snow started flying here and couldn't be happier with this setup. Good Luck with your setup. AL
I'm 6' with a 34 inseam and I installed the +1 SoftBrake on the Glide. I don't have hard lowers but it does hit my soft lowers when I have them on. I found the lower angle itself extends the pedal quite a bit. The +1 does good, but I probably could have went with the standard size if I had to.
The +1's make it super comfortable to just "heel" back and forth between the highway pegs and the brake.

Their +1 would definitely hit the lowers.
I also have installed the Softbrake on my Limited. It is as low as the lowers will allow. I love it. There I s no way the 1inch longer would work. I am 6` 3" .
