Don't remember exactly but I think it was a rather quick delivery.

The hydraulic lines and brake light switch will still be attached to the master cylinder. You'll just want to move things slightly to get at the pin. You won't be removing anything. There is plenty of slack in things to get the job done. Just move slowly and only move things as far as needed to get at the pin and get the pedal off/on. There is really no danger in damaging anything as long as you move things just far enough to get the job done.

I'm fixing to order me one of the soft brake pedals as well. I like using my rear brake around town and on the twisties and my right ankle always hurts after riding because of the angle that I have to raise the front of my foot up in order to use the brake. Looks like this should solve my problem,....

I new it was different but didn't think about it much until yesterday when I was out on the Limited most of the day then later I decided to take my '10 RKC. I nearly went through the first stop sign I came upon because the pedal wasn't where I was used to on the Limited.

It's all relative and you can get used to anything. I just prefer to get used to the SoftBrake pedal.

Installed a Softbrake pedal on my 2014 Ultra Limited today. Wow! Night and day difference. Pedal is forward of the floorboard and much lower, easier to get the foot on. I can't for the life of me understand what would have prompted H-D to position the stock pedal as high and steep as they did.

Same here. Carl was good to deal with. The new pedal made all the difference in the world. Similar placement to the old EZ brake style. Works well for me.
