2006 HD Ultra....worth?
I have a chance to pick up a 2006 HD Ultra with 3900 miles on it 103 Engine and the Baker 6th gear modification.... what do you think I should offer on it.....he wants 14K....has all the bells and whistles.

private sell on that bike is about 10k to 11 k according to kbb. really the fact he put a new engine in it and a baker drive when it comes down to it really means nothing. so knowing kbb says its only about 10 to 11 k. after that its up to you what your willing to pay. personally I wouldn't buy anything before 2009. which book for 17k

On the contrary, that's a bulletproof combination. I'd gladly pay the 14k and ride away. You'll be glad you did. I own a 2006 se ultra, and it's a great bike. With the upgrades he has installed, you should get many trouble free miles out of that bike...

In your area, that's probably a good deal. look at comperables in cycletrader and craigs list in your area. In May, I paid 13 for an 07 ultra with 7k and basic upgrades on it and it took me 4 months to find that in Florida where there are ALOT of ultras for sale.

what's it worth
i just bought a 2006 road king classic from the harley dealer in great falls, montana. it's in excellent shape with 13,000 miles on the clock for $10,000. i put a new rear tire on it, and now i'm making plans to travel next year! what can you say, it's an eight year old bike! cheers from montana

12k tops - its a 7 going on 8 year old bike - things will start needing to be replaced due to age if not wear
