I am looking to upgrade the headlites and the spot lites on my 04 FLHT and would like feed back to which is the best setup, with out going to the $500.00 xciting lighting. Thanks
I went with the Sylvania H4ST bulb for the headlight, available at any auto parts store, and 2 sealed beam halogen 4 1/2" spotlights from J&P Cycles for the spots. They made a significant difference without breaking the bank.
I have found the Kuryaykn/xsighting lighting online for 420.00. I think I like this over the onehd sellsbecause you bet both high and low beam hid instead of just the low beam. Anyone have the Kuryakyn? User opinoins?
go get a SilverStar bulb by Sylvania for 20 bucks before yu spend a ton of cash. My light is so bright I took off the crash bar mounted driving lights and never run the auxilary spots anymore.
While this post was quite some time ago, I was wondering if you only swapped out the bulb or if you also upgraded the wiring. Have you had to replace the bulb since? And if you have, did you look into the newer, more powerful Sylvania bulbs?
