The passing lamps are the same from 2006 until now.the 2005 had a different bulb and when they go they have an upgrade to bring you to the newer ones. As far as the head light I went with the truck phase 7 head light and it is one of the most useful mods I have done to date it's bright and you can also see the shoulder of the road worth every penny at 179.00 as far as the passing lamp bulbs it does not matter to me that they do not match the head light I upgraded to the newer bulb housings because I have an 05 deluxe and the I replaced the stock bulbs with 50 what LEDs for a place called so cal motor they are excellent I also run the yellow film on my passing lamps which I beleive is better than buying the amber lamps that some guys buy in auto stores I have heard the blow quite often all in all I spent 240.00 to replace all the bulbs and I could not be happier the difference is unbelievable and worth every penny it's now a pleasure riding at night I can see them pot holes before I hit them highly recommended. The harley head lights are over priced the head light alone is close 450
Forgot to mention, if you go with these bulbs turn them on outside of the lens housing for a few minutes because they give off a vapor that will burn off but if you have them in the housing the will "Fog" up the lens.
