I put a set on my bike 18 months ago. The amp has held up so far but the speakers went out every 6 months. This last time I called them and was told that the guy I needed to speak with (Scott) was at a motorcycle show but in view of my speaker problems he would definitely call the following Monday. Glad I wasn't holding my breath because he never did call. I finally bought some other speakers that were recommended here on the forum and am much happier with them. If the Hogtunes amp goes out or if I get tired of it, I sure won't buy another.

I ran a hog tunes system a few years ago and compared to stock it was a much better upgrade, but I was NOT satisfid and the amp that came with the package was shotty at best. Upon calling them I was satisfied with their service and had been told on this forum it was good, and it proved to be so. However, after replacing the amp for free and having the sytme installed (3-way for the freeway) I went to a bike night in Boston during the summer and heard some way better stuff. I saved some $ and a year later I bought a complete rocking system that melts faces. 10 rockford fosgate speakers two amps using the stock head. LOVE IT. ride safe.

Just go to the Audio system section here in the forum and you'll find a wealth of information.

Hogtunes for a stereo upgrade = waste of money. You can do LOTS better. Since you got a good deal on the bike, try to sell the Hogtunes cheap, and get something else. Almost anything else is better than Hogtunes.

I had decent luck with them. It's an upgrade, but nothing to write home about.....
