has any one mounted there E-Z pass under there fairing ? does it still work ?

yes it works. also works to mount on the underside of the leading edge of the saddlebag lid. just make sure it is oriented correctly. I place mine in one of the windshield bag pockets - good enough for me. they have a battery in them, so if doesn't seem to work all the time in the fairing, it may not be the placement that is a problem (from experience). My turnpike authority says battery is guaranteed for 3 years. can't replace the battery yourself.

I place my in my Tbag which is behind a solid black 6.5" winshield and it reads fine so I am sure it will work inside your fairing

I also put mine in the windshield bag on my FLHX no bag in this bike

Got mine in the right side saddlebag lid facing up never had a problem. Wife's in her windshield bag also reads everytime.

I have the mobile SunPass (not the sticker). It has worked in my windshield bag just fine. SunPass just sent me the new device that does not take a battery and it works as well. I just make sure I place it in the bag so it's pointing the same direction as if it were stuck to the windshield.

I got them to give me one that usually attaches to the front license plate on cars with 'special' windshields that prevent the EZ Pass from being read. I've had it on 2 bikes and it works great. I just zip-tie it the passing lamp bar. Not sure what I'll do when I get my Street Glide......
