fit a 18 x 5.5 in the rear?

sure ... with just abit of coaxin ...you'll definitely havta space out the countersprocket/pulley...most probly gonna havta widen the fender abit...but if you want it bad enuff, it'll go

Not without some modifications. That size rim is used for the 180-200mm tire.

HogPro Jerry says yes, BUT its not safe with a 150 or 160 tire. That rim needs more rubber. Looks like I'll be getting a 4.25.

I got a 18X4.25 for my new rear rim through HOGPRO. I think thats as big as you can go without mods.

If you go on performance machines website, they just came out with a relatively inexpensive 180 tire kit. Its a chain coversion kit though. About 1k.

Exact size I am running and it is very close.
