Default power vision quit working

It's been sitting in a drawer for about 6 weeks. Worked great last time I used it on my old 2009 Street Glide. Plugged it in wed to my computer to do the updates for the 2014 models and I had to plug it in about 25 times to get it to power up. checked the usb cable no problems there. Checked the usb ports on my lap top they all work with my ipod and phone no problem there. Even tried it on the bike with my new pv2 cable and it wouldn't power up, not gonna do that 25 times , somethings up? Fuel Moto closed till Monday any ideas guys, any one else have a sudden problem with theirs. Its all updated and I got my new UNLOCK License Friday but I'm afraid to install it on the power vision because of this problem. Maybe have to wait till Monday when I can contact FM It's almost a year old unit.
PS: what's the little red button looking thing on the unit? Tried to push it but it doesn't seem to do anything, not like a normal button or switch?

UPDATE: Thanks to Brian at Fuel Moto and Stan at Dynojet it's working again. I had to reboot the powervision . Heres how. That little red button has to be held down firmly while plugging it in to your computer with your usb cable. It will then boot up in RECOVERY MODE. It took me about 5 or 6 times to get it to boot up but once it did I was able to reset it by going to the update client and redownloading all the updates again. Thanks Brian and Stan.

FM doubles DJ warranty obviously if you bought it from them. Talk with FM. Mine has a bit of a bad connection at the mini usb on the unit. Screen flashes until I seat it properly.

They need some updates to work on the 2014s, I think they just became available last week, check with FM.

his issue is not (only) on the bike, it's when plugged into his computer. 2014 or not would have no bearing on this.

if you bought it from fuelmoto, they double the mfg warranty so i would definitely give them a call on monday. you might also try a different mini usb cable, though it sounds like you've ruled that out.

FYI: the red button on the front does nothing. Not sure what it's there for but it doesn't do anything on my PV. Thought it was a power button when I first got the PV...

USB cable on computer I had some issue. Good computer other stuff worked fine but I had to switch Powervisosn to rear USB port.
I even had to reboot the darn computer to get it to see it. This has happen more than once IMO it is something with USb port it's self and not the powervision I have had other usb device do this.

I thought the power vision was permanently connected to one bike and you could not use it on multiple bikes.

You can buy an additional license or can transfer it to another bike for $199
