I stopped into my local dealer to kill some time. Walking in and I see it. A 2013 Road King Classic. I instantly loved it and it was loaded with goodies that I just dont have on my 05 FLHT. The 103 motor, cruise, bigger tank, ABS. I talked the numbers as I bought my 05 used and its almost paid for. But I really want that '13. I have a year left on my bike but the new one would be cheaper on the monthly side. The '13 is discounted as they only have 2 Road Kings left. Im so torn about getting this bike, I mean I loved it as soon as I seen it. So its the figt of starting over or hanging in there with what I have
I did the same thing a few weeks ago....mulled over the deal in my head as I went home to think about it....went back two days later and the bike was sold to someone else! MAN! I saved a bunch of money! LOL
Believe me, I know hot is feels to "have the hots" for a new bike.
Personally, IMHO, I think you should hold off until your current bike is paid for and then you can choose to either trade it in, sell it, OR keep it and then buy a new, left over 2014 RK.....and have the best of both worlds.
I will say this, I've owned many bikes (and still own more than one) but once you've owned a dresser it's difficult to go back to a smaller bike, no matter how pretty and sporty they look.
