Here is my 99, if I could get my scanner to work I would show you a before. I have the cruise and stereo added. I am waiting for a 07 cop bike to raise its head on the used market and then I will jump on one of those with the 103" motor!
I bought mine in May of '06. It's an '04 FLHPI and it had a whopping 82 miles on it. Definitely a blank canvass. I've done quite a bit to it cosmetically and have had it tuned, but so far I have still paid less than buying a new, stockRoad King. White is a tough color to deal with, and I was planning on having it painted. But once I started to put some classic looking parts on it (i.e. '62 Panhead emblems, headlight/passing light covers, floorboards and lots of chrome) it really started to get its own personality. Now I am all about the white. I will post pics soon so everyone can share in my joy!!!
I have to say that I love that bike...I really, really do.
After an eternity of searching, today I finally found a hook-up for the 07 Police RK's. Talked to a sales managertoday and he said they should be getting 15-20 trade-ins in Mid-Sept that will go for around $15k and range from 800-2000 miles.
Told him to put me on the list for one and to callwhen they have them in, so it's pretty much a done deal now. Now comes the hard part....The wait.
