That's the 14 I would buy. Do you feel your bike runs cooler than the pre 14s?

Personally I wouldnt buy a 14 wet head. Not that they are bad bikes or anything like that but it is oh so clear it is a transitioning method for HD introduce a V-Rod type engine into all frames. Thats not my opinion but is something I heard from HD employees at 2 large HD dealerships in NY. I am not against this. The wet heads still get too hot and shut down the rear cylinder (which I hate about my 11 RK) so what is the point of the extra parts and cost when there is no real gain in performance?
Because the rear cylinder shuts down at idle, there is no advantage to the water cooling?????? If you had any experience on a 14 Limited riding in heavy traffic, you would not say that. I just rented one in Southern California and I can tell you I was very impressed. I've got a 13 Limited and I am satisfied with my current ride.
You should have some experience before you tell others what is good or bad about a product.

the '14's are not light years away from 10 years a go, they are still twin cams.
To much crap to put on a bike, keep the GPS and info center for your cage.

I'm not sure if you know this or not, but this is the Touring forum, not the Sportster forum. Cup holders, GPS, Bags, 1000 mile daily rides are kinda normal in this forum. NO GPS? Did you come through a wormhole from 1972?

Did you flame the wrong person? Sportster and 1972 is me, not him. And 1000 mile daily rides....really?? Are you off your meds again?

Amen to that! The bike I traded in for my 2013 Anniversary Road King was a 2005 15th Anniversary Fat Boy. The thought of paying a fairly sizable chunk of cash to fix a problem that Harley should have fixed years ago, played a large part in my upgrade to the Road King. I sure hope the Moco straightens this issue out with a quickness.
