12v under fairing

I have a 12V garage door remote I have hard wired to my bike & robbed power for it at the cigarette lighter. Problem is, I need power to it full time because when the power is off too long it loses its programming. Is there somewhere under the fairing that has power when the switch is off? Oh, I have an '09 FLHTCU...

I don't know what wire it is but there will be a constant on going to the radio.

get a test light to be sure , there are a lot of them , I think the acc switch is hot all the time but just get a automotive test light

just need to grab a test light and find one to do the job. On a deal like that I always use an inline fuse for the new circuit just to be safe,,,,, can pick those up anywhere...... good luck with it. paul
