throttle too tight?

Noticed throttles on various H-D have different amounts of resistance. My 07 seems a little tight/harder to turn than others. Can this be adjusted? Does cruise control have any thing to do with this? Never really thought about this question.

have you tried checking your thumb screw on the bottom side of your throttle.

yes, took it out when added cruise control. screw would not fit cc replacement peice. so instead of forceing it or getting screw that fit I left out the little "black plastic square" pressure plate and screw alltogether. thanksblackpearl

One of the many times I have had my grips and grip mounts off I put the throttle side back on with it pushed in too far. The end of the throttle grip would rub the end of the handlebar and the throttle would stick or was slow to return to idle.

Quick fix was to loosen the grip mount screws and slide it out toward the end of the bar a smidge and all was well...

beemervet-thought of that at first..new bike? well also looked at service manuel and only thing it said was "short bend in cable". Tomorrow will take apart and look/oil..ect.And post.Thanks
