Congrats Tom! What was the total cost of the parts, and did you do the install yourself? Any idea how your mileage will change with the new cam? Are you using a tuner or stock ECM? We ride a 2010 Ultra Limited, decatted, free flow exhaust and air cleaner with Nightrider XIED's and I'd love to know if the cam changes you made would be a good match for us. Thanks.
cost was approx 750.00 plus 2 bills I gave my buddy( he did most of the work)
This includes everything, cams, lifters, pushrods, gasket set and inner and outer cam bearings. Friend and I did it at his garage. Using a PC-V with map matched to what I have from FuelMoto. According to what I have read, mileage should be low 40's. I was at 45 prior to install.
Cannot wait until Thursday, putting some more miles on it.
You're going to like them. I just put them in my 2012 FLTRX

95 hp / 115 tq - dyno tuned by Fuel Moto
I can't believe how hard this thing pulls for a "cam only" bike. It's very snappy around town and winds up FAST! It purrs out on the highway as well. It's a really fun ride. Numbers before were 80 hp /100 tq so I picked up a solid 15 hp / 15 tq with the cam package and FM's tuning.
Very nice numbers. I have the Big Sucker A/C, Jackpot 2-1-2, Monster Ovals, TW222s, PV and dyno tune. My numbers are only 82.56 hp / 97.60 tq. I think dyno numbers are very subjective given the differences in numbers between dynos. When I first installed the cams I used a canned map from Fuel Moto and the difference from stock was very noticeable. Even after numerous auto tune pro sessions with the PV, there was a felt difference after the dyno tune.
