Road tune is where they load the canned map and then drive the bike in all different conditions and speeds and they make adjustments. Just like you would do with a PV I would assume.

It did in my case. The Fuel Moto tune was very good. I think a lot of people would have left it alone...but since I had the capability I ran a number of auto tunes. Auto tune adjusts the VE's for that specific bike using feedback from the O2 sensors. It got better with each tune. Really runs strong now.

Was just at thy dealer myself yesterday to get some pricing and try and gather info! Still trying to figure things out but for stage 1 air kit,tts master tune,4" rinehart slip ons and the dyno it looks like it will cost about $1,700. What other tuners do the dealers promote other than the tts?

Just purchased new SGS and dealer told me that he could do a Stage 1 for under $ 1500 now we did not discuss in detail what parts that would be used he did mention using a
S&S header as there was a SG there with that header on it and I liked the looks of it, and this is a Canadian dealer.

Its in transit as we speak, I cant wait to put it on! This is for a 2013 Ultra Limited.
Id love to do Cams at the same time but dont want to mess with Warranty.

I did Bassani 2-1 ($650 on sale Dennis Kirk), Zippers max flow A/C ($150 from JP cycles), and PV (I think it was $425, not sure, with trading in my PCV). total $1250. The map from Fuelmoto was very close. Autotune has helped fine tune it. I need to make a few more runs to fill in some more cells then I'll pull it into the WinPV software to compare. I ran a Fuelmoto powerpackage on my Streetglide. I would highly recommend them. I would not pay 2500 for a stage 1.

I will say that my buddy did the same thing as you on his limited and was very happy. Don't know what he paid though. He did it at purchase. Looks really good and his bike runs great. I do know a dyno tune was part of the deal.

4" Rinehart Slip-ons, $649.95
V&H Power Duals Header, $549.95
Fuel Moto Stage 1 Air Cleaner, $159.00
Dynojet Power Vision PV-1 Tuner, $549.00

Total Retail Price for Parts, $1907.90

OK, worst case, you're paying about $500 in labor charges, based upon your parts list. Don't forget, the dealer will be charging you full retail price for your parts.

So, first of all, buy the parts yourself, from one of our favorite OEM dealers or on-line retailers. You'll save a lot of $$$ this way.

Secondly, you can install the air cleaner and slip-ons yourself, by following the simple instructions, provided or in your HD service manual. If I can do it, you can do it.

Thirdly, grab a buddy you trust, who's mechanically inclined, and let him R&R the exhaust system and do a quick tune for you. If he gets it right, give him a $100 gift certificate to his favorite eatery. He's happy! You're happy, because you're putting $400 back into YOUR pocket!

Stage I A/C Kit, PN29260-08, $116 plus shipping from New Castle HD
FM exhaust, ceramic head pipe, 3.5" Jackpot slipons, full size crossover, $817, plus ship
TTS Mastertune and cable, $480
SE exhaust gaskets, $9

About $1,400 by my count. Could save $100 with a Fullsac recore kit for the OEM slipons instead of the Jackpots but not sure if those are avaialble from Fullsac for '14 models yet.

No need for a dyno tune with the VTune feature of the TTS, which, JMHO is state of the art; the next iteration of the SERT but much more user friendly.

A Stage I upgrade is typically a DIY project. Order the parts, roll up your sleeves, put on some tunes, ice down a six pack and spend half a day bonding with your bike.

Download "VTune for Dummies" and do the "road tune" which will be much better than a canned map and very close to what you would see from a dyno tune if you follow instructions.

Same as with a PV, called data logging and its so easy you can do it yourself.

The best part of going with the Power Vision is buy it from Fuel Moto and the customer service is the bes. They will take the time to walk you through any problems.

I did my stage 1:
PV from Fuel Moto about $ 425.00
FM billet A/C = 130.00
Cover = $ 45.00
V & H Power Duals (Id go FM jackpot ceramic pipe if I could do it over) $ 525.00 off e bay - eastern performance
V & H 4" balack ot rounds (Id do FM Jack pots if they came in black) $ $ 450.00

took about 1.5 hr to do with basic tool and cost about $ 1600.00 total with new SE exhaust gaskets

I used jamies canned MAP and the bike ran great. Later I made a few data logging runs and it even better
