I installed new handle bars and have a small piece of plastic left over. About 3/4" long curved with a small pin hole in it. I can't find a picture of it in the manual. Is is the friction shoe that the tension adjuster screw pushes on? Should I take it apart and install it if this is what it is or forget about? The second cable was a pig to install.

tmaxx, that is the friction shoe for the throttle. You only need it if you plan on using the manual cruise control screwto assist in the throttle control.
