2010 King Classic no start

I power on, hit the start button, and all power goes out, dash, lights, and no start. Battery is fresh and new. Connections are good. The problem just happened all of a sudden. Stopped for a bite to eat, came back out, the problem occurred, had to get a tow home...any thoughts ?

Load test the battery at a reliable place, sounds suspect.
Even new!

Yup, did that, the battery didn't drop below 11.8v with a 185amp load for 10 seconds. The bike did power back up once it got back home, tried the starter again, same thing, bang and no power .

check the grounds, same thing happened to me and it seems the culprit was the starter relay ground wasn't tight. It has started every time since I tightened it a few weeks ago

Use your meter and see if you are getting power to the starter when you press the switch. Work backwards or forwards from there...

Maybe a clutch switch/neutral switch problem? You'd think it would crank a little or at least click the starter even if the battery was weak. So I'm guessing some kind of interlock is keeping the starter off. I'm no expert though - this is totally an internet guess.
