I have Olins on the rear and progressive cartridge in the front tubes. Back when I bought mine Howard was trying to come up with a cartridge as well. I can tell you that my questioned why we waited 3 1/2 years and over 70k miles before I did the upgrade? MO
Only after you have adjusted/tested your factory shock psi settings and was still unhappy, I would take a serious look at the HD Premium Shocks.
No way would I give a $GRAND$ to Pecker Head Howard.

I got a set of progressive shocks "420"series"Heavy duty", on a close out sale from JP cycles back a year or so ago, BIG DIFFERENCE. I think the new models are numbered "430" series. My 1987 FLT carries a HEAVY LOAD, and these shocks give a good ride , compared to the Cheep"Os" I took off. I didn't have to mortgage the house to buy them either. Killer
Just changed to the 944's. Improved ride and the bumps that used to jar my teeth are now bearable. 604.00 plus install. You can find em on ebay for 550 or so.

The shocks are considerably cheaper than that chief. Your criticism is unwarranted and without merit. Howard sells the finest shocks you can put on your bike, tailored for your riding style and needs. You can't get his level of service from any other vendor.
