No way would I give a $GRAND$ to Pecker Head Howard.
Call him up if you like; easy to see how he got that name.
Five Bens per shock? What a joke...
Sorry. That was not appropriate.

Default Progressive shocks

I got a set of progressive shocks "420"series"Heavy duty", on a close out sale from JP cycles back a year or so ago, BIG DIFFERENCE. I think the new models are numbered "430" series. My 1987 FLT carries a HEAVY LOAD, and these shocks give a good ride , compared to the Cheep"Os" I took off. I didn't have to mortgage the house to buy them either. Killer

Just changed to the 944's. Improved ride and the bumps that used to jar my teeth are now bearable. 604.00 plus install. You can find em on ebay for 550 or so.

The shocks are considerably cheaper than that chief. Your criticism is unwarranted and without merit. Howard sells the finest shocks you can put on your bike, tailored for your riding style and needs. You can't get his level of service from any other vendor.

I have Legends waiting to go on and if the build quality is any indicator, the ride should be much better than stock.

Another vote for Howard! Custom made for your bike and how you ride. I couldn't be happier. 40K on them and they ride great!

Enjoy!
