I have an '07 Ultra and here we go again with electrical issues. Bought it used in great shape yadda yadda..low miles too. Anyway, the display or text info on my HK radio has not been working for some time. Back light works (Red) but I am thumbing through the options blindly. Good thing I know where they are. Had my Mechanic pull it out and do the recommended tweak on the tabs ( as per write up on here) and still nothing. What's next and how?? Thanks in advance..

This is a long shot, but try tapping the volume control in 3 times, then up volume, or down volume and see if the display comes on. It might just be set so low you can't see it.
I'm not sure of the sequence on an Ultra, but on my RG when it was stock: Bass, Treble, Display, Volume, AVC.... in that order. Now that I have fairing lower speakers it's: BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, DISPLAY, VOLUME, AVC.
Maybe someone with an Ultra can confirm the sequence.
