Use a hair dryer to heat it up first and the double sided tape comes right off, no problem. WD-40 will take the rest off with no problem!

Thank you for all the replys. I was thinking about the hair dryer so it doesn't pull some of the plastic off the fairing itself. I will try it this afternoon after watching the Seahawks lose to the worst team in the NFL.

after you get it off you stock panel will be under it

I will tell you if you from experience if you have any marks underneath the chrome cover and decide to repaint chances of getting a perfect match are slim. I got close but wanted a perfect match so after two trys I just ordered a new fairing cap.

You may also need to remove the ignition ****.

Hey that is my team your talking about. Oh well Seattle won anyway, the Bucs seem to be able to find a new way to loss all the time.

Yes Seattle won and I got too drunk to operate a pair of pliers. I will have to try to remove this friken chrome thing later.
