Default I need new boots!!! My Boots were stolen!!!

I dont even want to get into how, but they were stolen. Now I have another pair of boots, but they are a little big for me and not exactly comfortable and the sole is not good for off the highway outside of the cities around here in central Mexico.

I have been looking at the ICON Elsinore 1000 boots for 250.00, Chipawa for around the same, but nothing else has caught my fancy. I like the ICON because they really look like a great boot with the added style of all the buckles, even though you an see them under the jeans, but aslo for protection they seem like they will do the job. Harness boots are also nice, but the sole of the boot does not seem to work for me. I usually ride a lot of highway down here and end up getting off and riding gravel roads to stop for lunch and what not, getting out in the campo (boonies) is where it is at for the food and good people here in the dessert.
I have more than once had an issue with my old pair of harness boots on the gravely roads and loose rocks on the road. I need something sturdy to help me keep my footing on with my limited, which is a SOB'n heavy bike, love it to death but super heavy and hard to manuver on roacky roads.

Any suggestions as far as a good tall boot with a super sturdy and heavy duty sole. Oh yeh, not a big fan of lace ups, but with zips they could be ok.

I have a pair of these http://www.cruiserworks.com/Products...our-Boots.aspx
that I've had for 70K miles and they are great. Can wear them all day and good to walk and/or ride in. I have ridden in heavy rain multiple times and my feet have never gotten wet through the boots.

I have Bates Gortex boots, they are lace up but have side zippers. Very comfortable and sooooo light weight. (I have the non steel tip ones. They are complexly water proof, so riding in the rain is no issue (at least for my feet)

I love my AXO Strikers. Quick and easy on-off with no laces to mess with or worry about. Real motorcycle boots for comfort and safety, plus great convenience.

I have 3 pair of Ariats, all pull ons.
One is MC boots, with zipper, harness style, the other 2 are steel toe work boots, also pull ons, cowboy style.

I absolutely LOVE their boots... but I think they no longer make the motorcycle boots.

Sorry, you gotta give it up how you lost your boots to a thief.

I like my Red Wing and Chippewa boots. I've got several pair, both in pull on (engineer) style, and lace up. Logging boots are the ultimate in support, but take a few minutes to put on. You can completely customize the fit, though, and are very comfortable. I tend to wear my engineer boots more, mostly because they're more convenient.
