I have a set of Gerbing gloves and a jacket liner. I'm considering a pair of socks, too. I have a dual controller. Do I need a separate controller for the socks or do I use either the jacket or the gloves controller?
The gloves can be hooked into the jacket and both will be controlled by 1 part of the dual controller. The socks can be hooked to the other part of the controller. that way you can use the dual controller. If you want all 3 to be adjusted independently of each other you would have to buy another controller and hookup it up to the battery to run it.
I have a question actually about the heated vest liner from Gerbings that maybe the OP or someone else can help me out with. I didn't mean to hijack the thread but I thought I would post under this thread instead of making a new thread for a simple answer. Hope the OP dont mind.......I want to buy the Gerbings heated vest liner from Revzilla ( seems like they have the best deal on it). Does it come with everything I need to operate it? Pig tails. Controller. Etc? No information like that is given under the description. Im trying to eliminate receiving the vest and getting pissed because I need other stuff to operate it

7 volt or 12 ?
Normally the harness is supplied but not the controller. I bought the gloves and for a limited time the controllers were included. I would drop Revzilla a line and ask.

The revzilla site states it comes with battery harness but does not mention a controller. without a controller, it is simply on/off.
+1 on drop a note to the revzilla staff. real good folks and quick to answer. i've had real good luck with the products they handle. most of the time, as mentioned, it comes with the pigtail but no controller. so, if you want to adjust the temp, you need one of those. i have a jacket and gloves on one controller-heat troller. its mounted on the bike and i just plug in when needed.
